PSA. Please never, Ever, Ever buy pre builts. BUILD YOUR OWN. It is not rocket science, It's super easy and you don't need to be a techie. I can't believe they're selling a AMD CPU paired with a R7 260x for 875$, That is a complete rip off!!

It's actually cheaper. $753 USD converted to CAD is around 950. Cheaper.

Beth of both worlds. You pay little extra for them to build it together, and seeing as they know PC Parts in and out, they'd make it quite fast for probably a small charge. And even if they'd charge more then the next local pc shop, you'd still save some cash.

That being said, I made a list over on the CA site, and here's the list.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($64.99 @ Newegg Canada)

I did, but they're all made in the US Site. The US is A LOT cheaper in terms of PC Components. You have to switch to the CA Version and build it together there, only like so you can see the true price OP would have to pay. In the US you can build a super strong PC for really cheap.

FYI; Don't Single-Channel RAM. DDR stands for Double Date Rate, and the MHz is only operated if there's Dual Channel. Else it's halved and can make your head scratch for why the RAM is being shown as something like 1200MHz

Yeah, but it's still better to Dual Channel them. I just saw it because your build with the RAM Sticks were so inconsistent. (One Build had 16GB, others had 8GB).
Dunno about you, but I'm the type of guy who uses A LOT of RAM (Having A LOT of Chrome Tabs and sometimes Games over Games open, so for me having 16GB is just passable. (Filled out all 4 Channels with 8GB Corsair Vengeance Sticks)

having more then 8 ram is not necessary for most people ,for most people its luxuries, the average gamer will never need more than 8gb atm.

Yeah, that's true. But the prices are still cheap for 16GB ($80 isn't much for DDR4 2x8GB 2400MHz), so I always include that. But I understand your point. May as well just throw in 2x4GB, you still have enough room to upgrade if ever need to.

It always depends on ones setup, really. One might need 16GB RAM then a 6800K. (Especially Dual-Monitor Heavy Users like me who rely on RAM a lot with how many tabs, games and other shit is open). So there IS a point, but it's not for everybody.

I agree totally, it is best build your own if you make a list of things you like to have. If unsure, any computer shop would build it if you supply or buy parts from them.
