    Suggest me an upgrade.

So I'd like to get a rig that will get more performance, while consuming low power. I'd like to run it on a 450-500W PSU (preferrably 450W).
What should I buy? I would like intel+nvidia combo, I don't have endless money, but I have some to spare, I'll see what I get suggested. Long story short: I want a low-power build, that more performance than my current build. Looking to upgrade almost everything and maybe put in a decent SSD if it's cheap. I also have mixed ram right now (1 4GB HyperX @ 1600Mhz and another 4GB stock crustallix thing, idk). Should I put in 4 more GB of hyperX @1600MHz, while keeping the crustallix or should i remove the crustallix and put in another hyperx?

    Current build:

you should get faster ram, 8gb (or 16gb) at 2.1k ghz. another thing i would recommend is getting an rx480 or 1060, and then for cpu, you can get a i5-6600

I have the exact same build, this isin't really a good up-gradable computer because anything above this should be converted into an intel. going to an 8350 isint worth it in my opinion. If you want to upgrade, i would save up to have enough money to build another computer...

But i guess you could upgrade your gpu if your playing high end gpu games, not sure with r7 series u have but my r7 260x does fine with most of the games i play.

I did just upgrade to an 840 evo 1tb SSD from a regular HDD and its one of the biggest noticable upgrades i've seen, especially since i put windows and all my games on the ssd.

So either buy an ssd and gpu, or build another computer with an intel i5 or i7

EDIT: nvm u have an r9 which is way better than my r7 260x so just buy an ssd.
Only way i would recommend an 8350 is if your 6300 cant handle a certain cpu based program that an 8350 would handle

i would recommend getting a 1070 instead of the 1060, if you dont have the money you could drop the i7 for an i5 6600(k) (only get the "K" version if your going to over lock) and for the motherboard, i would recommend getting the Asus Z170-A, very good motherboard for $137, and wont be need to be replaced if you get faster ram, just make sure to get atleast DDDR4 2133ghz ram

Better ram for sure, Try DDR4. Also an SSD will help alot.
