So anyways, enjoy your microwave and drained bank account with your Nvidia cards.

thats funny but in my field, graphic arts, game art, and video editing as a hobby, NVIDIA cards offer the best support for all adobe programs and have great gpu acceleration features.

If you are using the GPU for that, you should be using workstation cards like the QuadroFX series instead of gaming GPU cards.

And for the record, AMD has no problem with that, and far outperforms Nvidia in certain fields relevant to what you said.

I would love too see the facts for that and i do use a workstation card on my laptop but i also enjoy playing games so the gtx series is the best of both.

Dont care to look them up, but AMD has been proven to be better certain numerical based calculations than nVidia.

It absolutely has not, NVIDIA has always been more powerful and has the single most powerful GPU out right now.

For a niche market. Nobody cares about the GTX titan mate, it's overpriced and only appeals to certain People.
Stop trying to be a Nvidia fanboy, you know AMD's killed them this series. Maybe when 8xxx & 7xx are released it may be different but you can't compare the GTX Titan to anything at the moment due to it's ridiculous $1k-1.2k price tag.
    helt ensam.

Ahem. 7990. Although that's two. Roughly the same price, and maybe a 7970 can compete with a titan.

edit: i'm a nvidia fanboy. I'd probably pick nvidia over amd any day, first time I heard about amd is when my friend tried to run bf3 and failed due to bad drivers and everytime he tried to up, he would blue screen, maybe this doesn't frequently happen, but it is a horrible first impression.

AMD's Drivers used to suck, and so did Nvidia's.
There's problems with every brand so you can't judge them based on that.

First impressions . I admit amd is best for its value, but I'd rather pay a little more and go with what I prefer for something that I know is more reliable. I think i had this dilemma when I couldn't choose between ocz and intel for an SSD. Ended up hearing stuff about ocz having problems with booting and blue screening frequently, which put me to intel. It was later fixed but I had already bought intel and now i've lost interested in ocz

It absolutely has not. And bringing up one of the most expensive GPU's available right now, like it is some kind of standard norm for home PC's is also cute. Whats cuter, is the fact that AMD has outperformed even the Titan in some areas of computation performance. GCN architecture is notably better at it than nVidia's Keplar architecture. And not counting the Titans extreme outlaying position in the GPU market, Tahiti cores continue to power over the majority of any of nVidia's products in computational power. And given the fact that nVidia has fallen behind in other certain departments as well, AMD starts becoming an even better pick when you consider they are cheaper as well.

Excuse me if some of this is a bit fuzzy or ill-written, I just got done driving across the country and am just doing a bit of poking around before I hit the bed. <_>

And for the two above me, you cant really rely on first impressions or one time happenings when it comes to computers. No company is immune to faulty hardware or software, so you have to look at the technical performance and reliability as a whole. Being stuck to one company can only lead you to restrict performance.

same goes for the gtx 680.
