Want to brag about your build? do it here!

I feel like most of the hardware section has been people posting there setups so i thought why not just get everything in one spot instead? ill start with some pics, info and upgrade plans.

    Setup
CPU Phenom II x6 1055T clocked at 3.5 Ghz
    GPU Crossfire 6950 1 GB
    RAM 8 GB 1600 Kingston HyperX 4GB
    MOBO 990FXA-UD3
    HDD Caviar green 1 TB
    SSD Intel 310 80 GB

    Pics

Shitty pics courtesy of shakey hands

    Upgrades waiting to happen
my upcoming upgrades will probably consist of some more hard drives so i can record some gameplay.
will probably also end up getting a processor upgrade to something more modern like the 8350. The graphics department also needs some upgrades so if i have the cash i might very well be running a titan and 3 23 inch screens in the end of the summer.

New build I'm saving up for. I'll be able to get it after my next paycheck:

CPU- Intel Core i7-3970x Extreme Six-Core 3.5 GHz(4.5 GHz Overclock)
    OC-Venom Boost Ultimate OC
Cooling- Xtreme Hydro II Liquid Cooling Kit 360MM (w/ XSPC RayStorm CPU Block,Dual D5 Pump & Reservoir, AX360 Radiator)
Mobo- ASUS Rampage IV X79 Chipset
    RAM- Corsair Vengeance 64 GB(8x8) DDR3 1600 MHz
VC- EVGA NVIDIA GTX Titan 6GB 16x
    VC2-
EVGA NVIDIA GTX Titan 6GB 16x
Power- EVGA SuperNOVA 1500 Watt Nex1500
HD- 480x4 GB Corair Neutron GTX SATA III 6.0 GB/S SSD
    Sound- ASUS Xonar Essence ST24

When the earth is changed into a humid dungeon,
In which Hope like a bat
Goes beating the walls with her timid wings
    And knocking her head against the rotten ceiling;
When the rain stretching out its endless train
Imitates the bars of a vast prison
And a silent horde of loathsome spiders
Comes to spin their webs in the depths of our brains,
All at once the bells leap with rage
And hurl a frightful roar at heaven,
Even as wandering spirits with no country
Burst into a stubborn, whimpering cry.
    — And without drums or music, long hearses
Pass by slowly in my soul; Hope, vanquished,
    Weeps, and atrocious, despotic Anguish
On my bowed skull plants her black flag.

Well I'm getting the 3970 and ocing it as well. With my job they need somebody with a REALLY powerful processor for some graphics design and post-rendering software. Since I'm the resident techy-type guy at work, they are actually paying me the money for the processor so I can do my job.
So no money lost for me. All the rest of the build is personal money though.

Drop the second Titan and the ridiculously useless RAM. Unless you are doing some serious motherfucking transcoding (like multiple live 4K processes) you aren't going to go near that amount. The most powerful machines at work (3D, Compositing, Render machines for movies like Iron Man and Avengers) only just utilize 32GB and a Quadro 4000. Anything more than that is useless for anything other than live transcoding and analytics.

    My specs

    CPU: 3770K
    Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V PRO
    GPU: GTX 680
    RAM: 16GB
    PSU 1000W Strider
    CASE: Cosmos 2
    HDD: Can't remember + 120GB SSD

That's true, a second VC isn't really necessary with a Titan. Usually all my builds in the past had 2 mid-price VC's that add up to be more economical than one powerful VC. Yet the new Titan seems to be more than powerful enough alone.

I've been saving my money up for a new system. I might not get ALL of that shit, because some of it is unnecessary. Planning on dropping the RAM down to 32 GB, the CPU to a 3930, and dropping the extra VC. Though the main build will stay the same.
