Does this mean I need a new HDD?

ok last night i downloaded mw2 and played it smooth etc. but my computer started acting really slow. i though i burnt up my Integrated gpu but turns out its my harddrive... when ever i go pass 100GB it starts acting up slow so i deleted mw2 which was like 12GB and it works perfect now?! has this happened before or is my theory really wrong

oh and another thing.. I want to improve these temps because i get real paranoid when i see 108 Degree's Fahrenheit i have 4 fans one for the HDD(blows air) one for the PSU(sucks air) one for the CPU(sucks air) and one Thats pushing air in on the side of the case. oh and isnt the HDD fan suppose to be sucking in air? i was thinking of cutting out a hole in the top of my case to put an extra fan but ill need some answers first.

I know i ask alot of questions but hey?!

    40 centigrade is nothing firstly,
use cable-management to decrease temperature build up.
and yes, it sounds like your HDD has a problem or there's a virus.
try getting an SSD for improved load-up times, data transfer times etc.

40*C is tolerable for a HDD. Anything in the mid to high 40's is really where you should worry.
And it does sound like your current HDD has a problem. Perhaps some bad sectors / heads?

Get another HDD, they are very cheap these days.
    helt ensam.

108 Fahrenheit is no big deal, if you have a spare hard drive lying around why not put it in and see if it's your current hard drive's problem?
