Buying new gaming PC any tips?

Hey guys. I'm gonna buy a new PC which is meant for gaming ofc. I would like some tips on what kind of parts it MUST have.
I do know alittle bit about computers. I can be any price at all really. I dont really care about the price. I would like a good graphic card and a good processor. I dont really know much about RAM. How much RAM is required for a good PC?

    Cheers,
    Hesokiz.

For gaming about 6GB of RAM would be enough?

About the hardware, it really depends on what kind of games you are going to play and whether you want the game to look good visually or not.

    What's your budget?
What types of games are you looking to play
will you build it or prebuilt?

You should really only get a triple channel memory kit (6gb) if your motherboard is triple channel, which most are not. They're usually Dual or Quad channel. Just stick to an 8gb kit (Dual Channel).

OP, as for the MUST have parts,

    Motherboard
    CPU
    Heatsink + HSF
    RAM
Hard-drive (It can boot without one, but you kind of need one...)
    Powersupply

Optical drives, GPUs, Fans and a Case are optional.

If you give an exact budget (I know you said it can be any price) I can pull together some parts if you want.

I most likely play BF3, League of Legends and Minecraft. I would probably buy more games if I get a better computer.
I would like a prebuilt one since I dont know how to build one myself.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Okay awesome

I would also reccommend you build your own one since it is as easy as making a house from lego!
It would also make it unique and almost one of a kind and its fun learn a lot!

I'll try make a nice build and see if you like it

Take the time to watch some videos on building a computer, if you're not going the pre-built route. It's actually surprisingly easy!

    Here's a fantastic video about it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKnbazLsM7g.

    It is a good tutorial
I also reccommend NEWEGGTV, they have a 3 step tutorial that goes from the parts to installing the OS

Welp, I put together parts because I was bored!

Case - NZXT Phantom 630 Matte Black
Case Fans - Bitfenix Spectre Pro 140mm x 3 (Replace case fans where needed)

Motherboard - ASUS Maximus V EXTREME OR Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD4H
    CPU - Intel Core i7-3770k
    RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3-1600 16GB OR G.Skill Sniper Gaming Series DDR3-1600 16GB
Heatsink - Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme
Heatsink Fans - Noctua NF-F12 x2 (For the Thermaltake Liquid Cooler)
Graphics - Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 7970 GHZ-Edition OR EVGA GeForce GTX 680

    Hard-drive - Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM
    Solid-State-Drive - Samsung 840 PRO 256GB
Optical Drive - ASUS Black Blu-Ray Burner
    Powersupply - Seasonic 860w 80 Plus Platinum

Total Cost: $2,459.83/$2,475.97 (ASUS Motherboard, nVidia Graphics/Radeon Graphics)

Total Cost: $2,248.82/$2,264.96 (Gigabyte Motherboard, nVidia Graphics/Radeon Graphics)

You don't need different case fans, but you if you want better airflow/noise levels, get the Spectres.
There are two different Motherboard choices because ASUS and Gigabyte are both the best Motherboard manufacturers, and both are good boards.
There are two different RAM choices in case you prefer one design to the other. (Sniper Series has one lower CL)
You will want to replace the stock Thermaltake Water 2.0 coolers fans with the Noctua ones.
Both Graphics are good, choose the one you prefer.
    Optical Drives are optional.

Don't like my choices? Disregard my post!

Maybe you could get someone to gather the parts and build it for you.

Here are my specs, these work fine with most shooters. Mine's a tad bit old though, you could get a newer graphics card and processor if you wanted to, and also more RAM. (I'll soon get 8GB). Sorry that it's Dutch, hope it isn't too much of a problem.
(Sorry, accidently made it an attachment at first) (Also, yes, it's custom-made)
