Wink Possible computer build for low-budget people?

Hello MPGH I'm looking for opinions on 2 things: 1 being an opinion on what I currently have for an idea for my build and 2 an opinion of what you think would be better but still low-budget.

The build I have in mind are for cpu and motherboard only because I don't need to buy RAM or a graphics card because I have a nVIDIA GeForce GTX 480

But here are the 2 things I had in mind:

    Motherboard
    Amazon.com: ASUS DDR3 1800 AM3 Motherboards Sabertooth 990FX/GEN3 R2.0: Computers & Accessories

    CPU
    Amazon.com: AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition: Computers & Accessories

Please leave your opinion if you happen to stumble by this post I really want the opinion of others (who most likely know about 10 times more about computers then I do). Thanks for reading this and I hope that I have opened some eyes for people who are on a low-budget as well.

    1. Neither of those products are even remotely low budget.
    2. We need to know your price point to make an accurate comparison.
When the earth is changed into a humid dungeon,
In which Hope like a bat
Goes beating the walls with her timid wings
    And knocking her head against the rotten ceiling;
When the rain stretching out its endless train
Imitates the bars of a vast prison
And a silent horde of loathsome spiders
Comes to spin their webs in the depths of our brains,
All at once the bells leap with rage
And hurl a frightful roar at heaven,
Even as wandering spirits with no country
Burst into a stubborn, whimpering cry.
    — And without drums or music, long hearses
Pass by slowly in my soul; Hope, vanquished,
    Weeps, and atrocious, despotic Anguish
On my bowed skull plants her black flag.

Well to me under 500$ is low-budget lol my budget that I'd be willing to do would be 700-800$

And they are both low-budget. If those are too much for you then you must be 1) In a really broken down and withered environment 2) Have a really horrible job below minimum wage 3) Live in a 3rd world country or 4) You're just too cheap (these are my opinions btw).

These compared to buying what my brother has which is a intel i7 3930k and a X79 Sabertooth and together add up to around 900$. So I think I would rather pay close to 500$ rather then 900$ plus the 3930k and X79 are not much faster then the 8350 and 990fx trust me

If you can find something out there that will deliver more power and kick then these 2 for less money by all means show me.

Right? These are the best AMD has to offer right now and they are just maybe 5-10% slower then the X79 and 3930k. Can't beat it.

I find it hilarious that you find under $500 a low budget, and yet a build with those 2 components would probably run well over $1k...above your price point. Trust me kid, I have more than enough money to throw together an incredible build.

I would be one of those people, so I'd suggest you shut your trap when you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

    1. The 8350 is overkill for a $700-800 rig, and you'd be a lot better off just going with a 6300, which is actually a better value. An 8-Core is entirely unneeded unless you're planning on doing some serious rendering/encoding, as 95% of applications don't even take advantage of the amount of threads that it's capable of running.

    2. That Mobo is incredibly, and I mean incredibly overkill for a build of your pricepoint. It has so many superfluous features I don't even know where to start. An $80-100 mobo would do you just as good.

Anything above an I5-3570k is an overkill for gaming... and you don't need a 250$ mobo that's just plain ridiculous and according to the 400 ancient turd series card you got there, i'm assuming your ram is probably still DDR2 as well. So that mobo prob's doesn't support it. If you want to stick with AsRock just get the h77 pro4/mvp one. Cheap and really good, can go dual sli, but I don't recommend that with that ancient card.

@xOGxSmoke420 I think you need to smoking the ganja and reflect on the amount of bullshit you're spewing.

To be fair the 400 series came out when DDR3 was mainstream. Hell I was running an 8800GTS 512MB with DDR3 ram at one point.

This were my proposed budget builds. Can get up to 50fps on high resolution on Crysis and max out lol, dota, cod bo2, etc.
    find your own budget case.
