    GPU HEELP

okey, so I've been looking at a few graphics cards and when I get my new pc I want it/them to be better than my gtx 760.

option one: (Won't let me post links)
    Crossfire 2 7850's
I've heard good and bad things about crossfiring... so I don't know about this one
    HIS Radeon HD7850 2GB
Built on AMD's new 28nm process, the HIS Radeon HD7850 features a 860MHz core clock speed, 2048MB of GDDR5 memory running at 4.8GHz (effective) through a 256bit bus, PCI Express 3.0 interface, 1x Dual-Link DVI-I, 1x HDMI and 2x mini DisplayPort connectors. Backed by a 2 year warranty.
Option 2: MSI GeForce GTX670 Power OC, 2GB
this is more powerful than a 760 right?.....
    Graphics Engine: GeForce GTX 670
    Interface: PCI Express x16 3.0
    Memory Type: GDDR5
    Memory Size(MB): 2048
    Memory Interface: 256 bits
    Core Clock Speed(MHz): 1019 (Boost Clock: 1097)
    Memory Clock Speed(MHz): 6008
    option 3: Sapphire Radeon HD7950 3GB OC Edition V3
    7950
The Sapphire HD 7950 OC Edition V3 is factory overclocked to 925MHz Boost and features Sapphire's new dual-extractor technology - Dual-X - a highly efficient multi-heatpipe cooler with dual fans providing quiet and very cool operation during normal operating conditions, and superb cooling performance even under extreme load. 925MHz core clock, 2 year warranty.
    option 4: XFX Radeon HD7950 Double D HD, 3GB
    another 7950

What's the best way to go? I'm thinking the 670 but I dunno

Here's what it'll be going in: (This is the last time I change the build because it pisses me off)

    Mobo: ASUS M5A99X

Case: Xigmatek Talon MT Black Case (this thing's fucking awesome!)

    CPU: AMD FX-8350 black edition

    RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2X4GB CAS9 1600mhz

HDD: Western Digital WD Black 1TB

PSU: Corsair CX-600 Modular 80+ Bronze Power Supply

optical drive: ASUS DRW-24D3ST 24x DVD Writer

I would go with the GTX 670 or the Radeon HD7950

Alright, let me break this down.
Your current GPU scores about 5,600 in Firestrike, so keep that in mind when I drop the Benchmarks.

Option 1: A Dual 7850 rig bring you to about a 7,700 in Firestrike. (I've actually owned a dual 7850 build in the past.)
Option 2: Upgrading to a 670 will only give you a miniscule increase in performance. I don't recommend it at all.
    Option 3: A 7950 will bring you to about a 6,400.
Option 4: Not much difference at all from Option 3.

A dual 7850 Build is pretty much the best option fr you.
When the earth is changed into a humid dungeon,
In which Hope like a bat
Goes beating the walls with her timid wings
    And knocking her head against the rotten ceiling;
When the rain stretching out its endless train
Imitates the bars of a vast prison
And a silent horde of loathsome spiders
Comes to spin their webs in the depths of our brains,
All at once the bells leap with rage
And hurl a frightful roar at heaven,
Even as wandering spirits with no country
Burst into a stubborn, whimpering cry.
    — And without drums or music, long hearses
Pass by slowly in my soul; Hope, vanquished,
    Weeps, and atrocious, despotic Anguish
On my bowed skull plants her black flag.

So which one would you recommend?

    HIS Radeon HD7850 2GB [HIS-7850-2GBD5] - $189.00 : PC Case Gear

    Gigabyte Radeon HD7850 2GB OC [GV-R785OC-2GD] - $219.00 : PC Case Gear

    Sapphire Radeon HD7850 Overclocked, 2GB [SA-7850-2GD5-OC-V2] - $225.00 - Scorptec Computers

    MSI Radeon HD7850 Overclocked, 1GB [R7850-1GD5OC] - $199.00 - Scorptec Computers

    OR I just realised I could get a 680?

    Gigabyte GeForce GTX680 Super Overclocked, 2GB [GV-N680SO-2GD] - $449.00 - Scorptec Computers

I'd go with Sapphire, always been one of my favorites.
A dual 7850 rig would still be about 5-10% more powerful than a 680, and you'd get twice the VRAM.

    Awesome!
Yeah I've always liked the look of the sapphires too
oh and the V-ram thing, I heard that 2x2gb cards in xfire won't mean there's 4gb in total?

Also, someones picking up my PC tomorrow for 1.3k woooo

Correct. Technically there won't be 4GB in total, but it will run leagues faster than a standard single 2GB.
It's the same concept with standard RAM in dual channel, except the gain is a lot bigger because it's dedicated rather than allocated.

Well since the saphire is not at pccasegear I had to change the build.... again
    I chose the 8320 because a 8350's just an 8320 OC'd?
and plus I won't have a CPU cooler at the time I buy it (will get one later)

EDIT: Changed the ram to this http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/47447

Oh and I was thinking, what if the game doesn't support crossfire? am I fucked then? haha
