EVGA wont discontinue a card right?

So i purchased a EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition card a week ago and it came in the mail today and i know i want to go SLI with this bad boy within 6 months i have enough to buy one now but im sure my parents wont be happy with another $900+ item being purchased after just spending $3600 on a build so... you guys dont think that EVGA will discontinue this card right? I really hope that they wont..

Since nVidia is currently on the 700 series cards and the 600 series cards are still available for purchase at most retailers, it's pretty safe to say that even if the next generation of gfx cards comes out, you won't have to worry about them not being produced anymore. Especially a higher end one.

    2 things.

    1. waste of money-if your spending so much money on a cooler you should be watercooling it for way better temps

2.probably wont discontinue it after a year in a way that you cannot buy it anywhere, but better hurry up if you want it...and i thought its a 3 slot card anyways so how are you going to do that?

They do discontinue cards. But I'm not sure if it will be in time for 6 months.

This is my first build so i just want to get it out of the way make a good build and enjoy it... probably in 2 years im going to do a rebuild where i take parts from this build and new parts and build a water cooled system i am just not experienced enough to build a water cooled system even though i am 100% interested in doing so and i will be down the road.

It is actually a 2 slot card. can i do that sli on a asus maximus vi formula board?

I'm sure they discontinue some cards but i'm sure it will be awhile before they discontinue the kingpin or any variation of the 780 ti.

Even if they wont you can buy them at ebay/amazon for a cheaper price and will be just like the new ones on pc supply sites.
