    Recommend me a new graphics card.

    Alright, so, I need a new graphics card. Badly. I'm still using a almost 8 year old card (No, I'm not kidding, GeForce 8800 GTX) that's played games at the least low settings so that's kinda what kept me away from upgrading sooner. Some problems with it include: crashing in games such as gmod for no particular reason, doesn't support DirectX 11, still uses GDDR3, and only has 768MB of video memory (but the system shares to it so it gets 4GB apparently). So yeah.

    Budget is around $200ish, give or take 50 if I can grub for some money. Has to be from Amazon though because I'm gonna try my luck with refunding from them.

    Are you sure the rest of your pc is up to par with a new gpu? if the rest of your build also is 8 years old just upgrading the gpu could very well be useless as you will be bottle necked too all hell. Post your full specs.

    No, the rest of is fine. I have a 8-year old GPU because when I built this one I was at lack of more money and a friend recently updated his GPU so he gave me this one which has as I said worked for the time I've needed it too. :P

    Just because;
    CPU: Intel i5 4430 Quad Core @ 3GHz
    PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600W

    I'm thinking about getting 2 R9 270x's, not completely sure though.
    Only problem is that there's only 2 PCI-E connectors on it so I might have to upgrade the PSU though.

    How would you be able to get two 270x's for 200$

    I would recommend you get a 280x if your able to save up some more cash. the 280X delivers about as much bang for your buck there is.

    The 270x's were just what I saw at the time and knew had good reviews on it.
