We can help you out, if you can atleast tell us what you're willing to spend on it.
(If you think there are decent parts left in your current PC, please mention them)

And no you shouldn't purchase a PC, custom build one

Not really want to build a new one. I need to upgrade my CPU speed and RAM. I don't play video games by the way; this is for music production/editing.

And $500 is all I have to spend at the moment.

Well we could get you a more than decent allround PC for a little over $800 USD (excluding peripheral/OS)

As for the CPU and RAM, I'd suggest the following:
    CPU: "AMD A6-3650" (~ $125 USD)
    RAM: "Kingston ValueRam 8GB DDR3-1333 CL9 kit" (~ $45 USD)

Save up, if you want anything decent you'll need at least 600-ish bucks. If you really don't need anything for gaming or the such just go for a z68 build since it has decent integrated graphics, offers a nice selection of CPUs and shouldn't be too costly to work with.

I'm getting this MOBO and CPU.
Biostar TA75A+ AMD A Series Motherboard - ATX, SOcket FM1, AMD A75 Chipset, 2000MHz DDR3 (O.C.), SATA 6.0 Gb/s, RAID, 8-CH Audio, Gigabit LAN, SuperSpeed USB 3.0, AMD Dual Graphics Ready at TigerDirect.com
    AMD AD631XWNGXBOX Athlon II X4 631 Processor - Quado Core, 4MB L2 Cache, 2.60 GHz, Socket FM1, No GPU On-chip, 100W, Fan, Retail at TigerDirect.com

Will I need a graphics card? If so, will this work?
    ZOTAC ZT-84GEM2M-HSL Synergy GeForce 8400 GS Video Card - 512MB, DDR3, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), DVI, HDMI, VGA, DirectX 10.1, Single-Slot, Low Profile at TigerDirect.com

I went ahead and bought a PC from Craigslist for $175. I'll tell you the specs as soon as the monitor I ordered gets delivered. This guy must of been Jesus. He had one of his bedrooms with like at least 100 desktops(all custom built) and about 50 laptops just laying in stacks. Huge TV's covering the entire wall. Every game system since Atari. I was like "can I stay here?"

Ugh ... that has got to be one of the worst choices for a new PC Any chance you could cancel the order or something?

Yes, you will need a discrete gfx card.

But the MOBO says it has gfx? I bought a cheap one anyways.

Nice double move of this thread.

    I ordered what I wanted.
