its really simple actually, just a few stocks, and a bit of work on the text

I got a hold of something like this that looked really awesome, but it's all about having the right stocks. Most of the job is done rendering and thinking about placement color etc. The water however could be a brush, I don't know.

It's sort of like a photo shoot. You take a whole bunch of pictures and then you use the one that is perfect for what you're doing.

theres hardly any rendering either if u think about it. all u need to render is a bottle, as the water splash effects have white background. Generally what u do with splash effects is u can invert the image and just put it in screen/soft light mode. 10 second job. Simple as that.

if it were a brush although i hhighly doubt u could find water brushes like that, it would be even easier

Im even starting to think that the text wasnt even tampered with, just placed underneath all the water stock layers giving it a crackle/broken effect.

In fact now i actually think ive seen the exact water stock image they used in there before somewhere.

Still though you need to render the bottle, and that was mainly what I was talking about. The main work that goes into this is placement and colors and stuff. Thats all i was taught in my computer graphics class. Placement, what colors i was gonna use, what pictures i needed, what the text was going to say, etc. It was so boring but I guess a huge part of the design process in the work force.

still easier to design a graff'd cd cover imo, wouldnt come out as crisp... also off topic kinda, its a champagene bottle

    looks pretty simple
One way that may not be as efficient or give as good an outcome to make the text would be this, except with a water texture at least its step by step which you wanted
