It's okay I guess.
The render shows off a bit to much, which is fine but with the background not corresponding properly doesn't make it a healthy choice.
To be honest the background looks like a bunch of backgrounds smudged together, changed a bit of the layer styles, and an important thing...
Motion blurred all those backgrounds and set the angle to about 230~240 degrees.
The background is empty, to many grey spaces. If you are going for a motion blur-like signature you want to fill your backgrounds with more richer colors. The green and yellow on the signature looks weird.
Red looks fine, texture is good.
You erased the outlines of your signature, which was good but tbh on most parts you erased it where the grey was, when you should have erased it where the color was showing, for more uniqueness.
The glow to the effect was fine since the background is darkened itself.
For a beginner, its fine.
You just missed the background, lack of color, abusing motion blur or somewhat of a motion/radial blur effect, the render was a bit odd considering that its red and the background is grey.
