    First day out

New camera, went to a river near my house. Still getting the hang of things.

I like the second one. If there were a more range of colours on the trees in the background of the first one, it would have been better. The water looks edited

The last one provides a very abstract focus I think. Nothing really going on, not much to see.

Hope to see some more from you

Thanks. The water on the first isn't edited, it's just a long exposure.

Second is my least favorite. Not sure what happened there.

Nice, how much did that cost over there? it's about $800-$1000 here, might have to ship one from there :L

In my opinion, second is the best.

I thought I'd just throw that out there.

I don't know shit about photography, but I'll give you my input.

The first one, like said above, doesn't have enough contrasting colors. In my opinion, it's a bit too dark as well. I just don't like it at all.

Honestly, the second one is my favorite as well. The little blur that is consistent throughout it makes it look even better really.

And the only thing I dislike about the third one is the somewhat abrupt transition in between really blurred, to sharp, and crisp.

Other than that, I like it a lot.

I'd love to see you keep at it.

If you have the raw image file of the first, pop that shit into lightroom, adjust the levels or the curves, get the lighting just right, and it would be sick.

Good shit Ryan. Im not much of a photographer but my cousin is.. and hes told me a few things about it, what to look for..

I like the second one the best.. but I believe you need to get a better camera.. One with HDR maybe? get some HQ shots, because that second one would look amazing with the right lighting and perception is really good..

    Can't wait to see more.

HDR is almost 100% done in post-processing. Very few cameras actually have an OBI sensor capable of capturing HDR-esque image in a single take.
