    I need you lovely GFX people to find out how to make a .dtx image file transparent.

    VM me or Messgage me on MSN if you are serious. Kinda need this done in the next 2-3 days.

    BTW you need Photoshop CS3, and a .dtx plugin(which i will provide).
    AND BTW traditional editing like making it transparent the easy way wont work.

    Preferably GFX Team people.

    1: It's for Combat Arms, Liz was experimenting with the .rez files and found a way to edit them.

    2: Yes, It is a picture extension, much like a .png or a .jpg .

    sounds cool. i used to texture for Oblivion, got some good skills built up. I checked out the topic, and the files look exactly the same as the standard .ddf's and .nddf's(texture maps[as in 3D bumps and ridges on a surface] that a simple-graphics game like CA might not have.)I used to work with.

    Hint: Gimp excels in this particular field. It's how I first found Gimp, a pro who taught me a few things used it, and it really is a lot better than the nightmare of dealing with texture files in PS.

    if you need any extra help i might have time.

    edit: hehe i just figured out why you guys want this. unpatchable client-side-started invisibility hacks would be amazing.

    LOL! B1ackAnge1 is a coder(i think im right) and he made a .rez unpacker quite a while ago, and he got it to work with the combat arms .rez files (dont ask me how). So, Liz wants a bunch of us to get together and tweak these files so we can make unpatchable wallhacks, see through walls, etc. There you go.
