maybe there should be a sub-section in GFX with art on tangible media (clay, pencil/pen, etc.) Don't get me wrong, digital art is great, but that would be a great section. people could learn how to draw, or flaunt their skills. could be like this section. It would definitely draw quite a bit of posting. "real" art is always a crowd gatherer. Plus, I could actually contribute something in that section. tutorials, etc. everything to say about computer GFX has been said a least 10 times before. Discussion? maybe some mods/staff could give their support or disapproval?
i think its a good idea, can't hurt, plus it would bring out people who maybe are really good drawers on paper, but cant make sigs.

Your wrong. There is real art implemented into graphic design. Designs are drawn before-hand, some of resources used in graphic design are so called "real" art, end if print it out it becomes tangible People (like me) have tablets which we draw with and it still gets called graphic design (digi painting), but is that still "real" art?
