I tried the AQ3D tech demo few days ago and decided to find out more about the client-server communication that is being used. After seeing that the TCP packets are not encrypted, I made a small server to emulate the game in my localhost.
Currently the only feature is to join the server . I didn't bother with database connection and just hardcoded the packets to see if I will be able to login. The result is success. You can see the video below.
