Want to make money creating graphics?

I found a website a while back by the name of 99 Designs. 99 Designs allows companies to put out ads for things such as small logos, Website designs, logos, t-shirts, and book covers. I will have a full list below. What happens is multiple people submit their designs or graphics and the company chooses the one that they like the most and the creator gets paid. I'm 16 and currently have over $20,000 in my bank account from multiple Website designs and small logos. Here is a list of some of the catagories and how much they pay at the minimum, remember the price almost never gets anywhere close to this, it is always much higher but varies with each consumer.

Website Design: $599<

Mobile App Design: $599<

Logo Design: $299<

Brochure Design: $299<

Book Cover Design: $299<

Post Card or Flier Design: $199<

Product Packaging Design: $199<

Business Card Design: $199<

Banner Ad Design: $149<

Illustration: $149<

T-Shirt Design: $149<

Icon or Button Design: $149<

These all pay VERY well and if you are good at what you are doing then it's easy money so please, go check out 99 Designs!

I know all about websites like this, because I've designed certain web elements for places very similar to this.
You don't get payed what you're advertising there, it's commission based.
All those prices you list are basically what the site charges customers.
If you are a designer you make commission from how much of your product people buy.
I really doubt you made 20k off this site. You would have had have been designing on it from the age of 5.

The T-Shirt design is typically a logo for the company, but you could probably work it in somewhere, go look around

The competetion is easy from what I've found with the occasional pro mixed in, it's good money.

2. Start designing
3. Enters it for competition
4. If the person who is looking for a design likes it the maker gets money 200-500$

Dude, I've browsed like 20 comps, and there's literally 40-150 people competing on 1 project..
and it's just not a few good people..some of the stuff on there is really good.
Just saying..you'd have to be a srs designer to win dough...
and now I am severely doubting you made 20 k in 1 year...

You obv don't play the big ones, I nab the competitions with 5-15 people

Him getting 20 k in one year is a definite impossibility which makes this kinda weird that he would lie about that

But mostly what iv'e seen is not what you say theres like 20 people in one contest from the ones i saw

I was just looking at a logo contest with 133 designers on it...
a few others were in the hundreds as well and most of the low number ones are probably only hours old.
Hey fuck it man..doesn't hurt to try, and you like to do logos anyway.

When you're at it every day for over a year now, it gets up there. Grab the little ones first then work your way up, it just like anything else. Don't dive right in until you feel comfortable with it, I really don't care if you guys don't believe made 20,000 off of this, my fat bank account doesn't really have anything to do with the website.
