    i remember editing pak files with pakscape back in the day. i assume these files are harder to get into? i would like to try it myself

    They're not traditional PAK files. Using Pakscape will probably not work. I do know that they contain blocks of compressed zlib data though.

    you're right, i just tried it and it says it can't read it. i'll have to wait for a release then since im not that skilled at modding. it use to be alot easier 7 years ago lol. i hope for a texture hack, those are my favs.

    I would love if we managed to figure out a way to read and edit these texture files. I can't see shit and run a good text mod for most games.

    lots would love it but i do not think this will ever happen even the paid texture hack sites say NO it cannot be done as it could not be done on blackops 2.

    Links in PM or ON site are not allowed as far as I am aware

    I will say however as others have this engine is nothing like blops2, it is so full of easy exploits at the moment.
    I think they have concentrated on some stuff and left others wide open, at present a lot of stuff to do with character modification and loadouts is left wide open.

    I have not even gone to the in game files yet as with a full loadout and all perks you can be as good as a 1 man army before the in game stuff is touched.

    Tom Crowley is a software engineer and I have a been using his programs for a while. This guy is legit and has been since I heard about him last year, he is currently working on a model extractor for ghost along with textures, animations, guns etc.

    You can open the pak files with free file viewer not sure about editing though, maybe tom will pull through would be nice!

    Yes you can open the image files of PAK format with free file viewer..i have tried it myself... but im not an expert at making hacks
