    COD Ghosts Not working

Hello I recently reinstalled windows 7 Home premium. I reinstalled Ghosts as well. I tried to start up Ghosts and it said.

"The application has failed to start because d3d11.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

did you install Direct X? or you can download the dll from here
    http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3d11
then put in your game folder. (if you download the dll make sure you click download zip-file)

I recommend making sure your hardware drivers are up to date and using the windows sfc (system file checker) command/utility.

RTFM (google) is always helpful in these situations.

That doesnt even answer anything, if you would like the community's help you really need to be a bit more helpful.

    To expand...

d3d11.dll is a system file (specifically, a dynamic link library that functions with direct x) to replace it you can either
    - run the sfc (which will identify it missing/corrupted and replace it),
    - reinstall directx 11 (from web) or
    - use a 3rd party download for d3d11.dll and place it in your ..\WINDOWS\System32 folder. (this last method is risky as it is granting an unknown party access to your system files).

NO need download and don't use 3rd party download is only scam.
OPEN STEAM on left up tab choce "update videocard" or use your videocard updater (better), then in Ghosts folder is already present VC_redistributable, .NET Framework and ALL DIRECTX that you need (make sure you have VC and .NET installed on your system, if not it will won't work)

    Steam/SteamApp/common/Call of Duty Ghosts/_CommonRedist/DirectX/Jun2010/DXSETUP.exe

Update Win7 through microsoft before everithing
