How do you think the world is going to end?

Please state your opinion ( without religion or without religion quotes ).

I personally think life is going to end by the next 100 million year.

Causes: heat, global worming, hunger, toxicity, poisoning, all gathered at once.

I think before life ends, all countries going to be like Africa, suffering from hunger, heat, diseases, etc.

So how do you expect the end of the world?

Either a huge ass war or a really bad natural disaster. One way or another we're going to be our own demise.

Some really smart scientist in the US is going to build a nuke that can destroy the world. The Muslims are going to steal it and blow up the world.

I believe the world will end with these ever-expanding aggressive powers of the world ending in a big clash, whether it be nuclear or otherwise.

I think it's highly likely that a massive nuclear war would basically end the world or just extinct most species in the world.

However an argument could be made that the probable outcome of a nuclear war is not enough to completely destroy planet earth.

After all, our planet was just a big ball of lava long ago.

"“Religions are, by definition, metaphors, after all: God is a dream, a hope, a woman, an ironist, a father, a city, a house of many rooms, a watchmaker who left his prize chronometer in the desert, someone who loves you—even, perhaps, against all evidence, a celestial being whose only interest is to make sure your football team, army, business, or marriage thrives, prospers, and triumphs over all opposition. Religions are places to stand and look and act, vantage points from which to view the world. So none of this is happening. Such things could not occur. Never a word of it is literally true.” .”

Not if we blow the entire planet apart.
When the earth is changed into a humid dungeon,
In which Hope like a bat
Goes beating the walls with her timid wings
    And knocking her head against the rotten ceiling;
When the rain stretching out its endless train
Imitates the bars of a vast prison
And a silent horde of loathsome spiders
Comes to spin their webs in the depths of our brains,
All at once the bells leap with rage
And hurl a frightful roar at heaven,
Even as wandering spirits with no country
Burst into a stubborn, whimpering cry.
    — And without drums or music, long hearses
Pass by slowly in my soul; Hope, vanquished,
    Weeps, and atrocious, despotic Anguish
On my bowed skull plants her black flag.

I don't think an atomic war would go that far but yes obviously that would be the end of the world.

Technology advances quickly my friend, and humanity's thirst for violence and destruction is unmatched.
Though an atomic war might not be the nail in the coffin, it will be our own doing.

Well that is the most likely scenario for the end of the Earth.
Pretty much everything else is based on fat chance and obscene passages of time.

From an Islamic perspective, it says that no one will know when the end of the world will happen. This itself is proof for me that the end of the world won't happen when people make those predictions. It also says some of things that will happen before the end of the world. Some of them have happened some of them are yet to happen. One of them was that time will appear to go by faster. Another one was that the sun will rise from the west and set in the East. Scientists have now discovered that the Earth can shift it's poles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pole_shift_hypothesis
Science is learning about the creation, Islam is learning about the creator.
