Also FYI Charles Darwin's father was Robert Darwin.

Also this isn't America. This is the internet. I know you may be patriotic but please differentiate the two, no matter how daft you are.
You are correct meant, to say his grandfather (Erasmus Darwin). Who taught Robert Waring Darwin his beliefs ;whom later on instilled this false teaching to his son charles darwin.

    Isn't that how religion started?
Someone passing down their false teachings? I mean with so many religions and so many "correct" teachings which all contradict one another, one can come to the conclusion that the idea of god is false to begin with. Especially because there is no way of proving it. If evolution is false well then it's way more closer to giving life an answer rather than the impossibility of a god

Agreed, all 4000 or so of them contradict each other, they all reckon they are right but only one can be.

Not believing in any of the 4000 of them is just so logical.

1.) Not all athiests believe in the BBT
2.) If god exists how did he let us come to complete corruption?
3.) If he doesn't exist, how are we here?
4.) The BBT was never proven.

There may never of been a beginning, no human being knows wether there's a beginning or end to EVERY thing in this universe.

I personally like the BBW theory better.

And with a name like that you should just stay out of religious arguments. It's like getting into a gay rights argument while pretending you "don't particularly like either chicks or dudes"

one thing that you religionfags forget that the theory of god has been around for thousands of years, atheism and what's known about it has only been around for 100-200 years. /fp

give scientists 500 years and they'll debunk the theory of god.

People been arguing about god for thousands of years, the whole point is that it's not possible to prove something doesn't exist - only that it does.

Atheism is the belief that there is no divine soul that controls us.
Also, if matter can not be created or destroyed then how did your god come to being?
And why do religious people always stretch there beliefs:
At first they thought god lived in the clouds/sky, then the wright brothers invented airplanes and went into the clouds/sky. Proving no god.
Before that they believed the sun was controlled by god and such, then NASA found out it was a ball of flaming fire.
And they believed there's a devil under the earth ruling a flaming slavery, then people dug down.
I do believe in the BBT, but this theory does not describe the beginning of time, yet the beginning of the universe.
Now we all know how babies are made (known scientifically), then how was god made?

And i agree with sab, that atheists have only been around for a short amount of time while religionists have been around for thousands of years. Science will prove them wrong.
Religion was made for those who are desperate.

Empire is right when I was in high school we were at one point learning about all the major religions in history. We came to Buddhism, when we were learning about how Buddha wanted to learn about suffering blah blah blah, he came across 3 or 4 things and one was an atheist. Or a "religious denouncer". Even earlier accounts of atheism came from Africa.
