    You can refer to this as a list of guns that you can change without the size change. Just note that he got it wrong and most of the time changing a large gun to a small one results in a giant blob that takes up half the screen and changing a small to a large gun results in the exact opposite.

    So yeah if you want your mods to turn out best you need to try and match them up to the same size.

    But do you want to know anything about the model size changing?
  6. so thats how it is done now i know i cant swap a gun without a default scope into a gun WITH a default scope and the sounds seem easy too...
    geez my common sense is giving on me :P

  8. Yeah personally i think its faster to hex edit. But the sounds are actually in a different file. It should be in a rez file called GUNS_SND_(appropriate gun categorie here). But you shouldnt edit guns that dont have built in scopes to guns that should (it gives you a textureles itec in addition to another one).
    Also if you ask why the model is small its because the sizes arent compatible. I could explain that more but in too lazy...
  9. dude you said gallo's way is alot faster. could you help me out i managed to change the M16A3 into a MTAR21 from the MTAR21anibase.LTB and renamed it to PVMLA_M16A3

    But in game it just looks like the MTAR21 doesnt sound or fire like an MTAR21
