Ok I tried running it as admin and tried disabling UAC and both times I ran payday2_free_dlc_v2 it said "getprivateprofilestringw has failed with error code 2." Just to make sure im doing this right ive tried all this with the exe and cfg files both in the Payday 2 folder and tried it with both of them not in it. Also with the just the cfg file in it and not the exe then the other way round. I dont know exactly how its supposed to work but ive tried all the suggestions brought up so far with no results.

Hey this may sound stupid but can you explain to me how to configure payday2.cfg to match your PAYDAY 2 executable path. I thought that I did it properly but I obviously didnt because when I run payday2_free_dlc_v2.exe it says CreateProcessW has failed with error code 267.
