It's easy actually. I just took the original render, made more copies of it, then moved each copy around until it filled the background. Then I merged them together, used a little blur, ripple, and disort effects, and then added a bit of hue and saturation to spice up the color. All for the background.
For the render I added it again over the background, added a bit of lighting effects, sharpened it so it looks nice, and placed it somewhere where you can see the action mostly, in my case the Gun. I forgot how I did the fireball on the gun so it looks like its shooting some big stuff. >.> I think I drew a circle and added a gradient effect on it, and some lighting effects.
