Yeah Tokyo Ghoul seems really promising, is Space Dandy good?

Did you ever end up finishing that LN with the virtual reality game where the dude hits the dummy for awhile?

Yes give it another watch. For Gone Girl, it's up to you, they have changed the last quarter of the book for the movie. The author helped write the movie and changed it so that it would not spoil the book and the book wouldn't spoil the movie.
