First one is ok, but I don't like the clipping mask, and the dude needs to come out more, right now he looks blurred along with the bg.

The second one I like, just because of the colours and simplicity. But not a lot of work done so I can't give you too much praise for it :P

Hide the red blue green channels and leave the bottom channel visible and select the bottom channel
then go to select>color range and click on the black. Whilst the black is selected unhide red green and blue and hide the bottom channel then press delete. I think so anyways.

As for the sigs hopefully ill have some of those resources in the pack but if not smy psd's have a similar sort of composition so hopefully you can learn from that.

Iunno really it takes a long time to develop beyond a certain point. Just keep trying really. Ill try and find some good tuts and stuff for the pack.
