SOTW Submisson

This is another sotw submission I made.

#1: the render should go behind his(her?) head.
#2: this area should be fixed
#3: this area is way too sharp
#4: the c4d looks like it goes in between his arm, but it's transparent and looks weird (plus it just goes on the arm, which doesn't look too good)

Fix those and be proud. :)

I'll fix 3 and 2...
1 and 4 are suppose to be like that, and I'll fix the transparency of the c4d there.
Ohh and on 1 now that you pointed it out the c4d is suppose to be there but the bubble isn't

Do you think I pull it off well?

Yes you're improving.

Regarding #1, do a version with and without the render on the helmet, once you fix the rest. :)

Another issue i forgot to mention in my first reply is that the render is kinda suppressed by the huge amount of colorful c4ds.
Also i'd consider a different background, as it feels that if i turn my view by 90° to either left or right, there'll be a city with a random marine floating in the sky sorrounded by weird mechanical dildos.
A dark and closed space would fit better as a background imo.

probably your best tag yet
work on detailing your lighting, for example lower the size of your soft brush, like as it is, its to large and doesnt look like realistic lighting
also their is a lack of depth, work on that and you'll improve some more

IV2B pretty much nailed on the head. The whole piece has a weird depth issue because of the C4D's. I also have issue the amount of little pink dots (I know it's the C4D but you can still shop them out). It's a lot better than the previous in terms of sharpening, but still faces quality issues like in the bottom right hand side.

Trying to focus on what you guys have told me
