You know i find that statement quite true, it does make you change, for the worse, as you learn certain things, you come to see that you are meaner, sarcastic, annoying, and possibly dumber than before. Its impossible for an environment not to affect you in a certain way.. But for some reason, even thought its bad, and we KNOW its bad, we come back around, sometimes bad is good, but I think in the end, some of us hope to change it for the better, so that other people can change it even more. Even though by doing so, we change ourselves.
Lies, You still a pussy czar.
Though I believe we only change because we want to fit a certain social standard, such as calling people newfags and being a dick because they think it's the hip thing to do.
Whereas, in a non-cyber social environment, we are not anonymous and can be held accountable for things we say or do that do not follow "political correctness" that is mediated by none other than ourselves and punishment is humiliation. And who wants that?
Thus, the internet is a place where people can do what they want when they want without being held accountable for the sole reason that they either want to fit in with others (i.e. - 80% of MPGH) or they want to boost their self-esteem by lowering others' without consequence (in which case, they are still looking for that social attachment by trying to make themselves look stronger and cooler to others).
