VISTA/WINDOWS 7 Works.
Go to themes and choose aero theme
Easy as that

Ok, right click desktop and click properties or Personalize. Then set Aero, or Windows Vista or something of the like. If something is transparent (window borders), you have aero.
Yep, if you can see through the titlebars of your non-maximized windows, you have aero.
