Don't really need a shit ton of memory on a SSD since you shouldn't be using it for anything other than OS and program installs. Writing to a SSD shortens the life of the device. Until they figure out how to stop drive degradation in this sense you shouldn't bother putting shit like movies and music on your drives. I wouldn't trust a SSD with my entire library of shit.
I was thinking of transferring my games+OS, but in retrospect that doesn't make sense since the only impact on performance is applications opening faster. So yeah, it would make sense to keep only my OS on it. /mmz

How does setting up SSDs in a RAID affect TRIM support? :confused:
Even the current low-end drives will last you well over a year or two, I think the average failure rates after 1 year hover at 5% or something. Good enough for me, at least for now.
You'll need to update drivers and bla bla bla in most cases. It just doesn't work out of the box usually.
