Why do people make such a big deal about post bans? I dont really find any big significance of them. Is it just like a sort of tradition MPGH has or what?

Well back the the day advancing 1000 posts was actually a major accomplishment because of the fact that there weren't very many users so in turn there weren't very many discussions happening at once. the 1337 ban happened back in the day because of the whole l33tsp34k movement happening at the time. Now days it is just due to legacy, we didn't always have post bans though.
Its Tradition. /mhu, Going for my 6,000 Post ban today tehe
Yes.. It is a tradition if you're a general poster. By that I mean; you frequently post in the General forum.
NOOOO IT'S NOT A TRADITION. WE JUST THINK IT'S FUNNY.
It's just a little thing we do. It is just a little achievement you can work for.
Let me quote someone:
Whoever post in other sections doesn't get a post ban
EDIT: Never mind.. didn't see that @Scata had already answered :D
Okay but still everyone still follows the post ban.
