I simply cannot continue on Yokai isle quest and Hachiki roof level because I can't find and complete the key. Is there an alternative way to reach Odokuro so that I can go beat him up to get the tooth?

You get the tooth from yokaiwar
just do the Dark Crystal Shard in Le Bot you can fight Odukuro and can get the tooth :)
