I'm doing a study on Twitch Chat, and I need your input!

Hey guys! My name is Jack, and I've been a long time member of MPGH. I've come and gone since the CA Rez Mods Section died (rip), but I'm here today looking for some input on a study I'm doing through the psychology department at my university. I am investigating the hyper-aggressive behavioral phenomenon displayed in select stream chats, as well as breaking down the constructs that make up the subculture that is Twitch.

All that I'm requesting is for participants to fill out a sur_vey through Google Docs. All information will be anonymous, untraceable, and all specific opinions will be automatically grouped into non-personally identifiable groups. I know all of that might sound sketchy as fuck, but what I mean is that because this is a college study, I have to account for possible liability issues.

The other reason I need to make it anonymous is because the previous data recorded from Redittors was all taken anonymously, and adding transparent data to the pool will invalidate the data. Even though the actual data isn't really effected, being a college level paper, they still get pissed when you chance independent variables for no reason.

Once the participant has filled out the sur_vey, they simply click submit, and then are taken to a thank you page where they are told they can safely exit. All information retrieved is whatever is in each field at the time of submission, and is automatically transferred and organized in an online (via Google Docs) xml file.

Yeah, sorry. I didn't put an explanation for the questions as it might effect honest results. The point of the questions was to help distinguish low-activity users and high-activity users by requesting information that someone who is a high-activity user should/could immediately get. If I added lyrics or audio, if someone didn't know the name, they could Google it, or if they recognize the song but aren't high-activity users, then it would be false data.

Sorry for the confusion, I know that one is a little bit troll, but I promise you, there is a method behind the madness!
