You're kinda late, but yeah. Flash is becoming more and more ancient each day. It's still incredibly insecure and honestly, HTML5 is a viable replacement. I bet Artix Entertainment would go crazy if Flash went unsupported, considering how almost all their games are Flash-based.

I think that's about the major exploit regarding "The Hacking Team." It's just one major exploit. The problem still is that Flash is growing older. I love it as much as the next guy, but I feel that our web technologies need to go forward.

I agree, but I still feel like Flash is a great tool, and shouldn't get quite so much hate. From what I've seen, it introduces so many people to game development.

So it was on a sunday morning, the sky was clear and the sun way bright and shiny. Dave was as usual eating 69 cakes for his morning breakfast. Well I didn't think dave would notice so I sneaked to his house and threw the note into liz's window but that damn cake eater was already finished eating his cake, so instead of going into liz's room it hit dave's eye and he read the note and hence why i am bant. Truly sad but no matter maybe at 6k milestone my love will finally reach liz and we will forever be together from the evil handsome cake eater. so ends my tail of love.... FOR KNOW.

Flash itself isn't that valuable. It's the animation/drawing system that is very crucial. It'd be a huge blow to the industry, because of its versatility and introduction to other programming languages / phone apps.

That being said, Adobe plans to support Flash anyways, whether you export it to HTML, a compilable app, or whatever. My guess is it'll just be re delegated to support role. It has no business being used unless it's being used for a game after HTML 5, which is perfectly fine IMO.
