i bought a pair back when i was 12 and wasnt dissapointed because it FELT luxorious and felt high quallity because i never heared such a muddy bass in my life. i think it was a great purchase because i felt cool, heared more music and felt more confident. sound quality is NOT everything.

these days i cant stand their sound and prefer my senheiser pairs, but that doesnt matter right? hate is unjustified. let people buy whatever they want

Yeah, can't argue with that. they turned some shitty headphones into a $3.2 billion (to apple at least)

Except manufacture cost isn't the only cost involved. But most retail mark up is around 10-20%.
