when you use a laptop unless you have a keyboard, your hand will overheat apart of the laptop when you rest your hand on wasd/ anywhere while gaming, the keyboard is essentials, it's just better to role with a desktop

I'm just giving advice, i've been using a laptop for like 3 years now, its not a fun experience, just get a desktop, you can get a much better performing Desktop for under $600 if you build it.

I do prefer a desktop but,
I'm now going to highschool and I'll be most of the day studding at school and not being at home, so I thought that carrying around with me a computer that here and there I can play a game or whatever would be nice, this is why I'm asking for advice.

If you're going to use something as a daily driver and you want it to be powerful try to get something that's slim like an ultrabook. If you try haling around something like an Asus ROG laptop it's not worth it because it's heavy as shit and the power brick is the size of a powersupply. Something like Razer Blades would be the best choice for you.
