I've been biting my nails since my childhood and I'm still continuing to bite my nails today. Most of the time when I do something, I bite my nails without me realize it. Sound silly right, I just couldn't stop.

Now my nails are ugly as fuck.

I use to be the same way dude, the only way I stopped was getting my braces, aswell as hearing chewing nails can actually cause infections within the nail and skin

Break your teeth so the next time you go to bite you're nails you'll be happy about having broken your teeth or break your nails so that the next time you try to bite your nails you'll be happy you don't have nails.


I think chewing gum would help though, friend of mine said it helped him.

Been there. Get someone to tell you when you're biting your nails. Make some kind of penalty thing for when you're told or you realise you're biting your nails.

Chewing gum is alright, works for some people but afterwards I would feel like I had to chew something else lol.

My brother has this habit and its very bad some pharmacies sell this invisible nail polish thing which tastes absolutely awful! If you put it on your nails it will stop you from biting them definately! It worked for my brother! Good luck! This is the only way my friend

Yeah, that's pretty much the only way asides chewing some gum for 12 hours straight, but who even does that.

Well, I do bite my finger nails when I'm hungry, but now I'm trying to stop this all together because of my fingers are becoming weird... Bottom of finger tip is starting to move its muscle or whatever top of the finger nail (or something like that, cannot explain it better)
