I'm against violence of men and women, I believe our society should grow past using violence as a solution to simple problems.
Though, I do believe in self-defense. If a woman came up to me and started attacking me, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to hit her back.

I think violence is something in our genes from primitive times, hence we will resort to it in a given situation.

Personally, I'd rather not hit anyone, but if they are invading my private space, then I guess I'll need to. Even if they are weaker (as in smaller in size, less mass) and they hit me, I'd either get really annoyed, or bitch slap them (non gender biased).
