Check the temps with a monitor software and keep a log so you can report the temps when it crashes. It could be a SW issue

He probably has an alienware '2k laptop, 160 fps on low on csgo, overheating' all the qualities of an overpriced laptop that I would wipe my ass with.

Thanks for the replies guys. - I checked the model, and it says the model is G501VW.

I tried installing SpeedFan, and when I ran CSGO, it said that the GPU reached 60-70*
And that other parts were around 50+ - Also one *temp 1* (what it says on speedfan, reached over 70*) I am thinking that is the CPU??
And people that are saying to return it, what should I say? That it is overheating very fast, and gets hot, and can't handle games at good performance, which it should? And that it crashes, during gameplay and stuff. Any other ideas? and thanks a lot

So I just checked again, "CPU" was 80* and GPU 70* , Isn't that a bit high?

Gtx 960m 4gb should easily run the game without overheating.
To me it sounds like a memory leak. Monitor your laptop while playing using speedfan to check what part is getting extremely hot. Also use the task bar to see if something rakes up a lot of your cpu.

    Keep me posted!

Just saw your post. Alright the gpu probably is getting hot due to the cpu. Check your taskbar to see if there are any processes taking up a lot of your cpu

That is quite warm for a gaming laptop, I'd recommend you to return it & get a full refund while you can or you can try ASUS' warranty.

But I'd just return it & build a gaming desktop instead.

Basically 1 week ago, I took the laptop to the store, and they sent it to repair. I'm thinking, that tomorrow I'll get the email that they have it back, and I'll see if they've fixed it So far, on a website to check the situation, it says that it was a hardware problem, and that they changed the motherboard.
thanks for all the answers guys,

and to that one guy. - This isn't for gaming only, so I'm not going to get a desktop instead. I can't really travel and study..comfy with a desktop xD

Just contact the company. That shouldn't be happening with a brand new laptop, regardless of brand. This is what I would consider to be a manufacturer's defect.

I'd return that for a replacement. No way you should be having this issue, especially playing a game like CSGO. I wouldn't waste a whole lot of time troubleshooting, just go for the replacement.
