I probably do this a lot.
It's not ungrammatical, but it's uncommon.
We normally say "stupid," "more stupid," and "most stupid," rather than "stupid," "stupider," and "stupidest.

More Stupid seems grammatically awkward when used in the same context as Stupider.
The English language is a pain in the ass.
So many methods, formula's and words to use, takes a long time or just plain out devoted brain cells to understand the fundamentals of a correct sentence and word-usage.
There are different words to use with other words, suffixes, prefixes, root words can turn you upside down. I say that once a person knows a sufficient amount of words, they should work on punctuation... So many people lack punctuation today.
