I seriously doubt your couch actually touched the CPU itself which means the sofa didn't suffer anywhere near 283 degree temperatures. On top of that by law most couches also have to be fire retardant which means it would have taken a whole lot more than your computer to light your couch on fire.

Not all couches are fire resistant, mine is pretty old and I play on my couch most of the time, so the CPU is about 1.5cm away from it. Also, this is a laptop. Originally Posted by iverson954360
