Well yes less view distance = seeing less nametags but I believe you can still see them on the map.

i had everything on as low as possible and it worked perfectly,
along with me getting a playable FPS.

My FPS was never effected by the tags themselves. I just can't run above 'super low' because my computer damned near freezes in 'low' or above.

P2P < F2P, not willing to spend my own money on gaming. I find the same amount of fun in free games. CoD is out of the question.

On topic. I ran into a situation today where my tags weren't working for all players in the room. I repeatedly ran into another Recon, never picked his tag up, always got picked off. I'm wondering if that is caused by anything or a regular accordance, one which can't be avoided/fixed?

Off topic. A torrentented game usually causes more trouble than they're worth (from my own experiences). None the less, even if I got the game for free? My computer can not handle too much, I would still have to fork out cash to upgrade my computer. Again, I'm a free-to-play kind of guy when it comes to video games.

I can't say why it isn't 100% working for you. I've never had the issue. New map will cause trouble so if your playing on that one maybe that is it I'm not sure,

Alright, it isn't too big a deal. I have only ran into it during that one session with the same opponent, may have been just a fluke.

It is still working, are you sure you installed it correctly? Run around the map, you will pick the tags up. They're not always visible, they can be a little tricky.

I'm not sure where you got 'hidden files and folders' but it sure wasn't my post.

yeah actually i put the .dll file on the following path C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield Play4Free but it crashes, it used to work before the patch :/

I'll have to check again when I get my computer to a playable state again, last I played though mine were working.
