Given that anything too knew would run into a bottleneck ... the 9800GT or GTS 250 (9800 refresh) would be cheap replacements or perhaps a 460 / 560 if you have the money. But as I said, watch out for bottlenecks.

@Sir Ragealot as the entry level gaming card of the 9k series, the 9600GT needs a 12V. Question is if the 12V rail can handle the higher power requirements of newer cards.
@Jakob derp, what about retrofitting a jet engine on a scooter?

I never had those cards before so idk.
GTX 460 was my first card that used 12v rails.
    I had a ATI X1050, then 4550 hd and then 5450 hd.
    Then I bought gtx 460 and now a 580.

Critical questions here, Is your PCI-e v1, v2, v3, is it x1 x4 x8 (my computer has an x8 PCI-e 2.0, not sure why) 16x, 32x. If you don't know or know how to find out it's going to require me making a fairly big post. your PCI-e slot maybe 16x, but it's not good to simply make assumptions.

And if you feel comfortable browsing on your own, check Video / Graphics Cards at TigerDirec*****m

    or
Newegg.com - Video Cards, Graphics Cards

I don't know if they can ship to your country, but I do know there are no places cheaper to purchase electronics.

    Those 8x, 16x and 32x are for multi-GPUs.
