Finally made it to the Elite 4 in Emerald.

I don't usually ask for advice about my team, but this current one just isn't cutting the mustard.

I have Lvl.57 Blaziken, 52 Wailord, 52 Electrode, 52 Flygon & 52 Claydol

That team isn't doing to bad but Flygon & Claydol really need more levels. I'm not sure who to put in my 6th slot. I'm thinking Gardevoir, my Gardevoir is level 32. I think I need a stronger Electric pokemon & an Ice pokemon as well. Would it be worth training up a Manectric to replace my Electrode.

I'm not sure what I have that could replace my Gardevoir because I've only trained my 5 pokemon for a while . Thoughts on putting Swellow in as a flying type with Ariel Ace? I would Love to put a Dusclops in but I can't trade with anyone

I'll be getting my whole team to at least 55 before I start.

Is there an obvious pokemon I'm missing out? I really want/need Thunderbolt & Icebeam.

I was going to raise my whole team to 55/60 before attempting to challenge anyways.

I don't really have experience with Electrics other than legendaries/Electrode/Pikachu
What's the real difference between the two?
