"The right way"? Why are you able to deem the right and wrong way to make art? If it looks cool and people enjoy it does it REALLY matter if someone used an easier method than yours to make it?

For example, if everyone in the world had the ability to make "good" art, now none of them are good, since they are all equal. Those with the actual skill will always come out on top.

I'm defending them because you can't say it's not art just because in your mind it took less "Skill" to make.

I think a lot of his pieces look awesome and I'm glad he made them and I got the chance to see such bad ass works of art. I don't care what amount of skill he needed to do it, I just care that it looked good. Art can't be defined by certain criteria, that's what makes it art. Stop trying to give it a rubric, it won't work.

Another thing, when did I say it wasn't art? I haven't given that sort of opinion in this thread for you to make such an assumption.

I hate Apple as well.

And a lot of you are acting like it's "a piece of shit" or "not real art". I agree that they should try to cut down on the Topaz a bit, but if they like the way their art looks with it I don't see a problem with it.

I guess I can see where you guys are coming from though, I would be mad too if I was doing it the harder way and people were making things almost as good the "easier" way. I just think some of the comments people make about it are kind of harsh.

It's because the general consensus agrees that topaz looks horrible. Countless reasons have been provided as to why it's a bad thing, and it'd definitely true. However, he decides NOT to change his way. On another note, if he likes the way his art looks, good for him. However, this section is meant to be giving critique on why they like it, or why they don't like it. If he didn't want that, he would go into the Image Sharing section. Such as how chefs may like their own cooking, but we will gag at the thought of it. We don't want to see it at our doorstep. On route with the topic of "harshness", we've given him many chances in this section, but every single one of them include rage.
