You know what I hope happens? Nothing. I just want to cease to exist. To me, the thought of returning back to the soil and once more taking on a new form in this universe is more poetic and fulfilling than any heaven or hell.

I'm personally a bit of a Taoist, instead of believing in a deity (like most religions) I believe in nature, Mother Earth. Much of what Azathoth said is pretty much how I feel as well, about taking a new form in this universe.
Well it depends on your religion. Many religions/church believe that there will be Heaven and Hell, but some people don't believe in that kind of crap xD
You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'.
