There's a ton of programs, depends on what you got your computer for.

-Steam (I'm pretty sure you know what this is)
-Rocketdock (This allows you to dock programs from your desktop, just like Macs. It makes your desktop cleaner and seem more pro)
-Photoshop and/or Gimp (For graphic designing)
-Gamebooster (Helps improve FPS on games)
-Fraps and/or Bandicam (Best for recording in-game footage)
-Camtasia (Best for recording desktop screens. Not good for game recording however)
-Avast (Imo, best antivirus)
-uTorrent (Everyone loves cracked stuff)
-Winrar (To unzip .rar files. Mainly needed for hacks)

There are a few more programs that I can't list off the top of my head.

If you think your pc might get hanged out running programs, then install tune up.
uTorrent, WinRAR and iTunes, the rest are optional.
