Rift (Online game)

Does anyone here play Rift?
I'll give you a link to the website if you haven't played it before.

The game is free up to level 20.
(You may think that this is a lot because the max level is currently 50, but believe me. You are missing out on 95% of the game!)

Rift is a great online game, if you play it. Please post below what you're name is + shard and I shall add you.

p2p games are going to fail in the future when you got decent games like Guild Wars 2 out, that you pay for once and then play for free.

Played when it first came out. Didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped. Played Everquest from launch to about 3 years ago. Nothing has hooked me since. 8(

I agree with you in some ways. But in others I don't, some online games will survive for the next few years (P2P) but as it progresses people are more likely to move too F2P games, but they are not always the best games to play e..g. Runescape lol.

I'm really enjoying Rift atm.
Ever since I got into the no.1 Raiding guild (Special Olympics) I've been getting much more respect from people.

And now that they have released the Beta for Storm Legion on Rift, more people have joined the game
