Microsoft offers a both Digital and Physical distribution of games

Microsoft has stated that you will be able to acquire a purely digital or a purely physical version of your game.

A purely physical would work as it works with the Xbox 360 now. As you require the disk in the tray to play the game, instantly swapping games and joining parties of another game instantly while playing a completely different game is impossible for users of a physical disk. You won't be able to carry your games library with your account. I.e, if you go to a friends house (using their xbox one) and you didn't bring your physical copy of game "X" then you won't be able to access it via your digital library if you don't own a digital version of the game.

With a purely digital version, you can do all of that. So for those of you who are ready to move on and throw away all their CDs, you can do that with the Xbox One as well.

The point is that all the digital features we saw in the E3 of xbox one which we figured where now impossible because we had to have a physical library are now possible.

lol almost every game companie is greedy hell EA has DLC already done for BF4 and the game wasn't even done at the time. I remember back in the day game companies were cool your game fucked you can mail it to them and they would send you a new one. Or if you got a high score in a game you could take a pic of your tv mail it to them and they would send you back a patch.
